American-Palestinian Adolescent Liberated After Nine Months in Israeli Detention

An Palestinian-American adolescent having endured 270 days in Israeli detention without being charged has been freed.

Mohammed Ibrahim had just turned 15 at the time of his arrest in February within the occupied West Bank, where he was visiting from his Florida home accused of stone-throwing toward Israeli settlers, which he previously denied.

American diplomatic officials expressed satisfaction with Mohammed's liberation.

Now sixteen years old, needed medical care for treatment immediately after release, family members reported.

According to them, he appears pale, underweight, and is suffering from conditions contracted in captivity.

Through an official statement, family spokesperson conveyed their "immense relief".

The uncle, Zeyad Kadur stated the family experienced "living a horrific and endless nightmare" over the last nine months.

"At this moment, we're concentrating on providing Mohammed with urgent medical care he requires after being subjected to Israel's abuse and cruel circumstances over several months."

The state department said it would continue to provide consular support to Mohammed's family.

{"The Trump Administration gives utmost importance to the protection and welfare for United States citizens"," officials stated.

Twenty-seven US lawmakers endorsed a document to the state department and President Donald Trump, demanding more be done to release him.

Mohammed's parent, with four children operating an ice cream shop from Florida, previously claimed Mohammed acknowledged allegations to throwing stones due to physical abuse.

The father hadn't visited or spoken to Mohammed since February, learning information solely about his son's condition through judicial records.

He stayed absent formal charges at Ofer detention facility in the West Bank.

Additionally housing grown detainees, including individuals found guilty of serious terrorism offences including killings.

An estimated 350 Palestinian minors in security custody detained within Israeli facilities, according to the Israeli Prison Service.

After the teenager's freedom, the uncle stated they would maintain their efforts seeking justice for their relative their cousin Sayfollah.
